Salford RLFC 2026 End of Season Award Winners

Salford RLFC celebrated the achievements of players from across the club at our 2026 End of Season Bash, recognising the standout performers from the campaign.

Players, staff, sponsors and supporters came together for an evening celebrating individual performances and achievements across the Men’s, Women’s and Foundation teams.

Foundation Player of the Year – Skyava Abel

Skyava Abel was named Foundation Player of the Year, sponsored by Pete’s Plumbing, in recognition of her achievements and contribution throughout the year.

Women’s Player of the Year – Dearbhla McCoy

Dearbhla McCoy collected the Women’s Player of the Year award, sponsored by PJD Heating (NW).

The award recognised McCoy’s performances and contribution to Salford RLFC Women during the 2026 campaign.

Top Try Scorer – Oli Garmston

It proved to be a memorable evening for Oli Garmston, beginning with the Top Try Scorer award, sponsored by Dukewell Precision.

Garmston finished the campaign with an impressive 13 tries, leading the way on the Salford scoresheet.

Try of the Year – Oli Garmston

Garmston was back among the winners when his effort against Hunslet was voted Try of the Year, sponsored by One Stop Fencing.

It was the second of three awards on the night for Garmston after a standout individual campaign.

Supporters’ Player of the Year – Toby Hughes

Toby Hughes was named Supporters’ Player of the Year, sponsored by the Salford RLFC Supporters’ Trust.

Voted for by the Salford faithful, the award recognises the impression Hughes made on those who followed and backed the team throughout the season.

Players’ Player of the Year – Oli Garmston

Garmston completed his hat-trick of awards by being named Players’ Player of the Year, sponsored by The Salmon Kings.

Chosen by his fellow players, the award is one of the most significant individual honours of the evening and capped an excellent season for Garmston.

Player of the Year – Cole Oakley

The evening’s headline honour went to Cole Oakley, who was crowned Salford RLFC Player of the Year, sponsored by Arlec Property Services.

Oakley’s performances across the campaign earned him the club’s top individual award and provided a fitting conclusion to the 2026 presentation.

Salford RLFC would like to congratulate Skyava Abel, Dearbhla McGoey, Oli Garmston, Toby Hughes and Cole Oakley, alongside all of this year’s nominees.

The club would also like to thank Pete’s Plumbing, PJD Heating (NW), Dukewell Precision, One Stop Fencing, Salford RLFC Supporters’ Trust, The Salmon Kings and Arlec Property Services for sponsoring this year’s awards.
