Salford RLFC are pleased to announce the contract extension of Jack Holmes until the end of the 2027 season.
The 32-year-old signed back at the club in March and made his debut away at London Broncos.
The winger has been out injured for the past three months, but made a return against the Broncos in mid July.
Holmes is delighted to be staying at the club, as he said:
“I am coming to the back end of my career but signing back at Salford meant a lot to me. Things are going in the right direction and it’s pretty exciting to be apart of the club right now.
“I remember the fans and their passion that they give every week, that has not changed. I am really looking forward to pushing on for next season.
“We have progressed well on the pitch and the training field.”
Our number five was the first ever player to make a kick at the current stadium, as he came through the Salford youth setup and went onto play for Oldham RLFC, Rochdale Hornets and North Wales Crusaders.
The seasoned Championship player also knows how much of a role he has got to play, being one of the more experienced players in the team.
“I thrive in pressure, I like the pressure and I want to perform well in these big crowds we are getting here (CorpAcq Stadium).
“Being one of the older members of the squad I will always open up to anyone who needs advice.”, Holmes said.
